FINAL REFLEXION

ABOUT CLIL

When we started to consider the idea of applying CLIL methodology at our institute, we were faced with many issues and uncertainties because our social, linguistic and cultural reality is very varied and complex.

On the other hand, it soon became clear that this methodology offered us a theoretical basis and practical approaches that were very interesting and that we had to try and train in order to achieve our goals.

Finally, we have a lot of work to do if we want the CLIL methodology to reach the maximum number of students and that most high schools can benefit. But, as we learned in this course, motivation and training is the key to moving forward, so: let's go!

ABOUT GEP 1
First of all, I must say that the GEP course was presented in a very clear and practical way. Our teacher, Maria Mont, did an excellent job and has served as a guide at all times. On the other hand, applying the GEP methodology was easier than I thought, but there were also some problems that I did not expect.

On the one hand, I had to adapt my materials because the language level of all my students was not the same and some of them could not follow the class. I also had to change the way to carry out some of the activities, such as the Dictogloss, to make them more simple and adapt to the students.

Besides, the timetable also made the work difficult because it was not easy to foresee how to match the preparation of the tasks with the implementation in the classroom. This fact has caused that it has not been able to correct the grammatical errors detected in the recordings of the implementations.
THANKS TO...

This project must not have been possible without the collaboration of my students of 4th of ESO. Thank you guys!

And, of course, I would like to acknowledge to Maria Mont, our GEP1 teacher who has inspired and encouraged us with her passion and professionality.

Finally,I also want to thank to Anna and Alfonso, my classmates with whom everything has been more digestible.
